Some Halloween thoughts….

It’s hard to believe Halloween has come and gone already in 2024.
Some ideas I had about improving upon what we created will follow. I will update this list over the coming days and weeks :)

Just a few musings from the night….

I think these little LED lights would work better in our pumpkins then the tea lights we used. We used regular tea light battery operated candles which have been fine over the past few years but not as bright as we like. We use the candle in the pumpkins to help light up safe passages for trick or treaters to walk and these lights seem to provide better light.

Small wireless bluetooth speakers like these will provide great sound but don’t carry a lot of “noise” to the other neighbours yards. Great quality sound and really help to create a fun atmosphere without being overbearing or too loud.

Have various high quality splitter extension cords like these were invaluable for both my fog machines and all the LED lights on the front lawn. I will definitely buy more of these cords for next year.

I think using a bit of MSG powder in my paper mache would have been beneficial for various reasons. I like how it make things a bit thicker without clumping.
