Autumn Junk Journal Pages
I love this time of the year. I truly enjoy the shorter cooler days, the crisp sharpness of the air and of course the crunching sounds that echo as we walk through the leaves. It is truly a magical time. It’s a time of letting go, release and leaving behind what is no longer needed. We are to let of and move forward without the things, feelings or ideas that are no longer relevant or functional for us. It is the time of the year for a great release which is followed by a great exhale.
How lovely to embrace the beauty of autumn with journal pages that capture the essence of the season. It was a real joy to use a rich palette of warm hues—golden yellows, deep oranges, and rustic browns to create a canvas that reflects the vibrant landscape around us this time of the year.
I am usually not a fan of using lace and trim in my journals as I wasn’t keen on the bulk that came with using them BUT! a switch flipped in me and I actively searched for trim and beige lace to add a different dimension to my pages.
I had a great time creating this journal with any of my favourite autumn images which are mushrooms, vintage ladies and vintage fashion, woodland animals, (especially squirrels!) owls, foxes, warm candle vibes and of course maple leaves.
I love my journal if for no other reason that I can completely indulge my favourite images, my favourite pieces of ephemera and my of course my love of numbers :)
Thanks for being here!
