Halloween Junk Journals-part 1

Here in my studio over the past few weeks it has been a flurry of witches, black cats, ghosts and ghouls. I have been working madly on a wide variety of Halloween journals for my fellow Halloween enthusiasts. These have truly been a labour of spooky love as I have been able to immerse myself in Halloween ephemera and Halloween art.
I am rolling out all the journals that I have created for Halloween 2023. This post is for the larger hardcover set with polka dot organza ties. I created 5 different journals in this set, each has a different cover but the inside pages, tags, envelopes etc. are all the same.

I do enjoy working in a junk journal that is a little on the larger side so I made these a bit bigger at
7” x 10”. It has 64 pages, one inch metal spiral binding and well over 45 tags and other paper goodies.

I have loaded these up with many tags, papers,envelopes etc. but I haven’t glue a lot of them in so you can truly customize this journal to really work for you.

All the journals I create are a combination of paper that I have printed, colour paper with rubber stamp images or a few scrapbook paper pages.

I love being able to combine all the things that I enjoy about Halloween in one journal both as a junk journal maker and as a junk journal user.
